    Feb 09,  · Fritz Lang's silent classic Metropolis - which had already bankrupted the huge Ufa studio before its premiere in Berlin on January 10 - was a dystopian vision of the 21st century: an enslaved. The companion film to director Fritz Lang's The Tiger of Ezchnapur is, like that film, a beautiful film to watch. This film, along with The Tiger of Ezchnapur, was edited together as Journey to the Lost City when it was originally released in the United States.
